Data privacy statement

The object of this statement is the collection, processing and utilization ("use") of personal data, which are collected when you use the services of Trotec Services GmbH.

General

Responsible body
The responsible body in the sense of the data privacy law is Trotec Services GmbH. The contact person for matters relating to data privacy is Mr. Joachim Ludwig. If you have any questions on the use of your data or you wish to make use of the legal remedies described herein, simply use the Contact form.

You can of course use the services of Trotec Services GmbH without giving your personal details or having to enter personal data. For this, only access data without personal reference (e.g. the name of the internet provider, the type of browser used, the site you are using to search the services or the name of the requested file) are collected; this data cannot be traced back to you. These data are used exclusively to improve our services.

No consent through utilization
The respective applicable legal conditions, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act, are decisive for the use of your data. If and when data are collected for a purpose which requires your consent in accordance with these conditions, you will be asked for your explicit consent in all cases. You may revoke any consent you have given at any time, with future effect, and/or object to future use of your data. The mere registration, utilization of the services or acknowledgment of this statement is not a substitution for your explicit consent.

Use of your data
The possibilities of use of your data are briefly described in the following.
Collection of data: No personal data is collected.

Processing and utilization of data
Trotec Services GmbH uses the collected data for four fundamental purposes, whereby not all data are actually used for all purposes:
The data for your personal account and address (inventory data) are used for establishing and processing your usage relationship (order).
We use the data on your utilization of the individual services (usage data) for the technical processing of the usage services (simplified ordering). This can lead to usage data of different services being combined for billing purposes.
Once your contract is fully processed and fully paid at the purchasing price, your data will be blocked from further use and once the mandatory storage periods defined in tax and commercial legislation have passed unless you have explicitly consented to the further use of your data (customer account). When registering for the newsletter, your email address is used for advertisement purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Cookies
Cookies are files that are stored on the hard disk of a computer and make navigating easier. They prevent you from having to keep filling in all required data. Cookies make using the services of Trotec Services GmbH easier. You can prevent cookies from being saved on your hard disk by selecting "disable cookies" in your browser settings. You can also set your browser up to ask you if you agree before cookies are set. You can also delete cookies that have already been set at any time. Please read the instructions of your browser manufacturer to find out how all this works.

Right of access

Newsletter and advertisement / revocation of a declaration of consent

If you issued your consent to acquire the newsletter or advertisement as part of the services of Trotec Services GmbH, you can revoke this at any time with future effect. Please send us a mail using the Contact form with your request.

Data security
Trotec Services GmbH always aims to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or destruction. Your personal data are only accessible to employees that inevitably have to have access to it to perform their work properly and provide you with offers and products in the best possible way.

Analysis services
Trotec Services GmbH uses Google Analytics as an analysis service. Anonymous data is recorded and saved, and created from these usage profiles using pseudonyms. However, usage profiles are not merged with data via the carrier of the pseudonym without the visitor's explicit consent. In particular, IP data are disguised immediately upon entry, whereby an assignment of usage profiles to IP addresses is not possible. Visitors of the Trotec Services GmbH website can use this data collection and storage at any time for the future.

Google Analytics uses "Cookies". The information generated by these from using this website are generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. The activation of the IP anonymization is switched on on the Trotec Services GmbH website so that your IP address from Google can be shortened in advance within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the agreement beyond the European Economic Area. The full IP address of a Google server is only transferred to the USA and saved there in exceptional cases. Google uses this information to analyze the use of the Trotec Services GmbH services in order to compile reports on the website activities and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the internet. The IP address transmitted from your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

You can prevent the cookies from being saved by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly. However, Trotec Services GmbH would like to point out that, in doing this, you may not be able to use all functions of Trotec Services GmbH to their full extent. Use of plugins

The internet service of Trotec Services GmbH also uses so-called plugins.

If you call up an internet site of Trotec Services GmbH provided with such a plugin, a connection to the servers of the relevant plugin – provider is established and the plugin is shown on the internet page through information sent to your browser. The plugin provider is thereby informed as to which of our internet sites you have visited. If you are registered as a member with the plugin provider, it is possible to assign this information to your personal user account. This information is also assigned to your user account in some circumstances when using the plugin functions (e.g. clicking a button, leaving a comment), which you can avoid by logging out before using the plugin.
